Power Play on Cancer by Sigma Pi Theta-Rho

We were fortunate enough to partner with the Sigma Pi Theta-Rho fraternity at Grand Valley State University again this year as beneficiary of their annual Power Play on Cancer hockey tournament at Griff’s Icehouse in Hudsonville, Michigan. The event pits four Grand Valley fraternities against each other in a “friendly” battle of on ice supremacy. The event drew a raucous crowd for each of the four teams and all four teams fought valliantly, though ultimately the team from Pi Kappa Phi prevailed in the championship game.

Through their hard work, the event raised over $3,000 to help provide financial assistance for Michigan families battling cancer.
