Another year and another fabulous event from our friends at the Sigma Pi Theta-Rho fraternity at Grand Valley State University. 2024’s Power Play on Cancer Event was held at Griff’s Icehouse in Hudsonville, Michigan, and brought out the best hockey players from four Grand Valley fraternities to battle it out in a two-game tournament before a crowd of extremely rowdy fans.
After the dust settled the Sigma Pi team came away with the championship and bragging rights for the year!
Early estimates appear that the event will raise around $3,000 to help Michigan families battling cancer.
We sincerely thank the young gentlemen of Sigma Pi Theta-Rho for their ongoing philanthropy and we look forward to partnering with them on many more amazing events moving forward!
